Art in April

Art in April

  1. Finish the landscapes we started last time.
  2. Use the landscape slideshow we used last time for reference.
  3. Use LAYERED colored pencils for details. Do NOT color big areas in big strokes!
  4. There should be no white space, unless for clouds or snow – but you can also use white colored pencils for that as well.

If you finished, your choices are:

  1. Do a second landscape (use printer paper)
  2. Work on your “room”/house
  3. Create a fantasy landscape.
TK Extra April

TK Extra April

  1. Get clipboards, pencil, and paper.
  2. Follow the below drawing video.
  3. After finishing the drawing, you may use BrainFlakes OR I have included a read aloud video.
Bee Observations

Bee Observations

  1. What do you know about bees? Share what you know.
  2. Watch bee observation videos below – what do you notice? What do you wonder? (mute video 2 so observations can be made without the information)
  3. Draw a bee on a flower using this YouTube/Art Hub for Kids video or draw your own bees and flowers. ADD grass, sky, or other bees….more than just what is in the video.
  4. Use fine-line marker, crayon, and/or colored pencils.
  5. If you finish your art, you may use Brain Flakes at your table to build a flower and/or a garden.
